Blue Whale Media’s Visit to Sir Thomas Boteler High School

A few members of our team visited the Latchford based high school on the 21st of June. Our senior videographer, senior marketer and managing director went to Sir Thomas Boteler High School to conduct mock interviews for year 10’s & 11’s.

Gary, our managing director did a great job at reducing the nerves and stress of the students. As we have all been there before we know how scary it can be to be on the receiving end of the interview. Gary helped to build their confidence and give the students helpful advice on what they can do to improve their techniques for next time. As a master interviewer himself, Gary knows which techniques work best to really wow their future employers.

All the students did a fantastic job with their mock interviews! This is a very nerve-racking experience for the students, but all interviews were performed fantastically and professionally. This was a great experience for the student to gain a better insight into the grown up world of careers and jobs (scary). Having mock interviews helps the students to develop their interview strategies and how they can answer those tricky questions with a great deal of sophistication.
